How long does it take to get a video match?
Usually seconds. The search starts the moment you open a match and connects you as soon as someone available appears. There is no queue position, no lobby and no scheduling — and if a search ever takes longer than you feel like waiting, you can cancel it and try again.
What if I don't like my match?
Switch. One action ends the current match and starts a fresh search — no explanation needed, nobody gets notified that you left, and it never counts against you. Moving on is a normal part of how matching works, not a rude exception to it.
Is video matching random?
Yes, deliberately. You don't pick from a grid of profiles, and nobody picks you from one either — the system pairs you with an available person, which keeps first conversations unscripted. If you'd rather choose a face first, the online gallery lets you do that instead.
Do I need to install an app?
No. OpenTalk.tv runs in a modern browser on your phone, tablet or laptop — nothing to download, nothing to update. When your browser asks for camera and microphone permission, allow it once and you are ready to match.
